Cassie Hemphill, CM

Cassie empowers individuals and organizations with participatory decision-making, strategic planning, and professional development. Her work focuses on ensuring that adults of all ages have the knowledge, skills and abilities to share in the hard work of solving complex problems. Cassie enjoys facilitation (remote and in-person), training, non-profit management, organizational development, and mentoring and coaching young professionals. Her academic research explored decision-makers’ use of public input and public/private collaboration in environmental management. She has an M.A. in communication, a Ph.D. in natural resource management, and a Graduate Certificate in natural resource conflict resolution. She is one of only 10 people in the U.S. who has earned the designation Certified Public Participation Professional (CP3). Cassie also holds the designation Certified Virtual Facilitator. Cassie has been an MtMA member since 2019.
