02 Apr New Administrator for MtMA
MtMA welcomes Cassie Hemphill as our new Administrator. Cassie has over 40 years experience in non-profit administration and has taught a college courses in non-profit and organizational communication and management. She first got involved in non-profits in her teens, when she helped organize an educational seminar for a dog club. Since then, she has contributed as a board member, served on committees, and been an active volunteer with local, state-wide, regional, national and international organizations ranging from performing arts groups to academic organizations to a community farm that grows fresh organic produce for a food bank. Highlights of her non-profit experience include developing a professional certification program, planning conferences and other events, creating and delivering professional and community education, managing a trainer licensing process, mentoring and coaching students and career professionals, and leading bargaining teams. In addition to her work for MtMA, Cassie currently serves on two boards and is involved in planning a semi-annual career event for job seekers, developing a statewide community of practice, developing a staffing plan for a 3,000-member organization, and facilitating an advisory board. Cassie looks forward to getting to know you and other members, increasing the value of your membership in MtMA, and raising the visibility of mediation across Montana.
