Theresa spent the bulk of her career in trial court management where as part of her responsibilities she managed ADR programs, and settlement panels in federal and state courts. She served as Chief Executive Officer, Court Administrator, Chief Deputy, Chief Probation Officer and Financial Manager in the these courts. She has managed federal district and bankruptcy courts in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, worked at the Administrative Office of the US Courts in Washington D.C. and implemented a consolidated court system in Yakima, Washington. A fifth-generation Montanan, she transferred to the Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management Montana/Dakotas in 2011. She served as a bureau-wide EEO Counselor, and Mediator and Facilitator for the Department of Interior s Collaborative Action and Dispute Resolution Center. She is the immediate past president of the Montana Mediation Association where she served on the Qualifications and Standards Committee. She was a faculty member for the annual association training conferences. She is a former board member of the Community Dispute Resolution Center in Missoula, Montana, where she served as faculty for new mediator training. She has developed curriculum for several mediation training courses and tailors each course to the specific needs of the audience. In 2016 she transferred to the United States Forest Service and holds the position of Civil RIghts Director for the Northern Region, and was appointed a Montana Ambassador by the governor of Montana. She is a Leadership Montana graduate 2018. She is a veteran of the U.S.A.F graduating from the Defense Language Institute in Spanish, holds a graduate degree in trial court administration and a bachelors in political science.
